Concrete Arriveth! (FINALLY!!!)

YAY!  The Concrete truck arrived last Tuesday to finally get our foundation poured!

And now we just sit around & wait for the slab to cure like Ahi here.(it'll be cured in a week.  Then they will start framing when the rain stops...)

More foundation work on the bar.......

Work is stalled a bit while we await some inspection crap from the city - here are some progress pictures :)

Oh - and Monday, I finally made something with our new cooktop - Granny's Sloppy Joe recipe, which is just SO TASTY!!!!

FINALLY!  We're settled in enough to finally share some pictures!!  It's taken a TON of work to get it this far, but we're happy with how things are shaping up :)

& Next-up is the dining area off of the kitchen, which will be a bit of a work in progress until the bar is complete, as our liquor is also stored in this room...
